April 12 in «IT-cube. Gagarin” hosted the final of the Aerospace Festival “Space Sevastopol 2023”

The festival was held from 1 to 12 April and included competitions, olympiads, excursions, games, lectures and quizzes. Among the main events are the PROSpace hackathon with cases on astronautics, the Space in Trend competition with creative tasks for artists, the Olympiad about space and LogiQuiz for family teams. The honorary guest, Russian cosmonaut Oleg Skripochka, visited the festival. He talked with the guys in the format of a «round table» and answered the questions of the festival participants.

The brightest event of the day was the Battle of Scientists competition, in which children defended reports on the topic “About space is simple” in the format of a scientific stand-up. This competition is an initiative of the Quantorians-participants of the «Movement of the First», which was supported by the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.
It should be noted that Cosmonautics Day is a special date for the festival site: the first in Russia center for digital education of aerospace children “IT-cube. Gagarin» was opened in Sevastopol a year ago, on April 12, 2022.
