On this day they also performed the corresponding “fire” rituals. The owners took burning coals out of the stove and lit a fire in the garden with them. Then all the equipment that helped cultivate the field was carried through the fire (to protect it from fire), and the sick were brought to the fire, being confident of their recovery after the ritual. All kinds of rubbish were burned in the same flame to cleanse the house of unnecessary things.
