Are we going to become “tour guides”? Advanced training courses for the self-employed are being held in Sevastopol

For the first time, at the site of the Sevastopol center “My Business”, within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises”, advanced training courses for tour guides were launched.
Course objectives: to familiarize self-employed people with the current state and development of the hospitality industry, the ethics and speech culture of a tour guide, the theory and practice of excursion work, and the peculiarities of the relationship between hotel enterprises and travel agencies.
Professional training plays an important role in improving the quality of excursion services, and also contributes to the development of new skills and knowledge among tourism workers that they can apply in their practical activities– the press service quotes Natalia Borisova, director of the “My Business” center.
During the course, participants will learn the following topics:
- technology and organization of excursion services;
- transport support for the implementation of excursion services;
- self-promotion of a tour guide (guide) in the digital environment;
- interactive, virtual and augmented reality on excursion routes;
- security measures at tourism and service facilities;
- regulatory and legal framework for tourism and excursion activities.
After completing the training, participants are issued a standard certificate.
