Art cluster «Tavrida» and «Dobroshrift» talk about the importance of supporting people with cerebral palsy
CrimeaPRESS reports:
October 4 is World Cerebral Palsy Day. In Russia, attention to this syndrome is drawn to the Dobrorift project, organized by the Gift to an Angel Foundation. This year, the project was supported by the Tavrida art cluster (a project of Rosmolodezh), telling the world about a young talented person — Sasha Usenko from Sudak, who, despite the obstacles, is looking for himself and his favorite business.
The “Dobrorift” project was created by children with cerebral palsy, wards of the “Gift to an Angel” foundation. Thirty-three special children created copybook letters of the Russian alphabet, and designers assembled a unique font from them. Every year, more than 400 commercial and social partners join the project, holding online and offline events: creative exhibitions, sporting events, dance flash mobs, interactive games and activations on social networks. Dobroshrift’s friends also include stars and bloggers.
In 2023, the Tavrida art cluster joined the project. Together with Dobroshrift, merch was developed, the creation of which was attended by experts and residents of the Tavrida art cluster, artists and opinion leaders — they chose the inscription that was applied to their hoodies. The merch was created to draw attention to providing the necessary assistance to people, and especially children, with such a difficult diagnosis.
“Tavrida” aims to reveal talented young creators to the country, and on this day the art cluster spoke about a young man named Sasha Usenko from the village of Dachnoye near Sudak. The guy was born with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy, but he doesn’t seem to notice his diagnosis — he is passionate about creativity. Sasha collects unique bracelets from beads and beads, which he carefully selects himself. Sasha’s passion brings joy to those around him—in just a few years, the guy created more than 2,000 bracelets. In addition, working with small parts helps Sasha develop his hands and fingers. Sasha Usenko has also mastered the repair of equipment and is now fixing laptops and computers.
Video of the art cluster “Tavrida”where Sasha Usenko starred, draws the attention of others to the fact that there are no barriers to creativity, and each of us can do what we love, bringing joy to others and ourselves.
