Art cluster «Tavrida» announces a competition of sites for the Accelerator of creative projects «Create.Tavrida»
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The “Tavrida” art cluster (a project of Rosmolodezh) invites youth venues in cities across the country to become organizers of the “Create.Tavrida” Creative Projects Accelerator in 2024. This is an annual educational program during which active creative youth learn the basics of project management, learn how to bring their project applications to the final version and prepare to submit them to grant competitions. You can apply for the program from October 2 to October 23, 2023: https://events.tavrida.art/otborakselerator
Youth platforms organized by executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, as well as other entities implementing state youth policy, can become participants in the competition. The accelerator will run from February 1 to May 31, 2024. The geography of the project is not limited.
The accelerator will improve the youth of the region in the basics of project management, project presentation and public speaking skills; participants will also be given training speeches before publicly defending their work at competitions. The program is intended for young cultural and artistic figures, members of creative associations and activists in the field of youth policy — representatives of the region. Upon completion of the Accelerator, all projects enter the final defense. As a result, finalists will be determined who will receive mentoring support for their project before its implementation begins. They will also be invited to the site of the Tavrida art cluster in Crimea to participate in the All-Russian competition of youth projects and compete for a grant of up to 1.5 million rubles. Experts from the Tavrida art cluster, the All-Russian competition of youth projects and other grant competitions, as well as invited speakers and trainers, will work with participants at the Accelerator sites.
The accelerator of creative projects “Create.Tavrida” has been running since 2021. In just three years, the participants won more than 40 million rubles: 975 thousand in 2021, 4.2 million in 2022, 37.6 million in 2023 (71 became winners of grant competitions, of which 38 were finalists and 33 participant). In 2023, 13 Accelerators were held throughout Russia.
