Art cluster «Tavrida»: registration is open for the tenth season of educational races

From April 17, registration opens for participation in educational races of the Tavrida art cluster (a project of Rosmolodezh) for young professionals in the creative industries from 18 to 35 years old. The first race “The Surest Path” will be held for the first time in Moscow at VDNKh from June 2 to 8 as part of the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia”. All subsequent races will take place in Crimea.

Musicians of various genres, street artists, dancers and choreographers, artists and directors of street theater and puppet theater are invited to participate. Registration for the first race is available at link and will last until May 6.

The educational ride “The Surest Path” will be dedicated to the production and promotion of young artists in the field of contemporary music, the development of the street theater and puppet theater industries, the integration of street art culture into the urban environment, as well as the popularization of dance art. More than 400 participants from different regions of Russia will gather at one site. Together they will work within five art schools.

Under the guidance of experienced mentors at the art school of contemporary music, the musicians will work on creating new Russian-language tracks, participate in castings and prepare for performances at the Tavrida.ART festival of young art. Participants in the street theater art school will discover the secrets of creating street performances and learn how to get to the best street festivals. At the puppet theater art school, actors and directors will develop skills in bringing a puppet to life, creating characters, and interacting with the audience. The street art art school will unite the work of street artists on the territory of VDNKh and attract the attention of the audience to the diversity of street art. Participants in the art school of choreography will look for new forms of synthesis of traditional dance styles, reflecting the identity of the nationalities and ethnic groups of Russia, and innovative solutions in choreography.
