Art cluster «Tavrida» will train authors of creative projects for free

The art cluster “Tavrida” (a project of Rosmolodezh) continues the application campaign for youth platforms to host the Accelerator of creative projects “Create.Tavrida” in 2024. Venues from cities across Russia can take part. The competitive selection is held until October 23, 2023: https://events.tavrida.art/otborakselerator

The accelerator of creative projects “Create.Tavrida” is a free educational program for young people in the field of culture and art. During it, active creative youth package their ideas into viable projects and prepare them for a grant competition. Participants are also taught the basics of project management, project presentation and public speaking. Educational events within the framework of the Accelerator will be held from February 1 to May 31, 2024 on the territory of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Experts from the Tavrida art cluster, the All-Russian competition of youth projects and other grant competitions, as well as invited speakers and trainers, work with the Accelerator participants. In 2023, the speakers were: member of the expert council under the RF State Duma Committee on Youth Policy and Rosmolodezh.Grants expert Alena Zinkevich; Minister of Youth Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, expert of grant competitions Svetlana Anufrieva; Skillbox program director in the Marketing direction Nikita Smirnov; speaker of the Sberbank “Business Environment” platform Ainur Zinnatullin and many other representatives of the spheres of social design and youth policy in the regions.

In 2023, 13 Accelerators were held throughout Russia. The organizers were 10 regions (Tula, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Rostov and Nizhny Novgorod regions; Perm, Khabarovsk and Stavropol territories; the Republics of Karelia and Crimea, as well as the federal city of Sevastopol) and twice the Academy of Creative Industries «Meganom» (a project of the art cluster «Tavrida» «). As a result of the 2023 Accelerators, 71 participants became winners of grant competitions.

Holding the Accelerator in the region is an opportunity to provide significant support for the development of local creative youth. Having trained and brought project applications to the final, Accelerator participants can enter grant competitions or find partners to implement their ideas. All projects are socially significant and aimed at ensuring the well-being of regional youth.

Thus, thanks to training in the Accelerator, Yulia Ivanovich from Petrozavodsk (Republic of Karelia) applied for participation in the Rosmolodezh.Grants competition and received 700 thousand rubles to create the “Special Beauty” (“SHOK”) school for girls with disabilities. Psychologists, makeup artists, massage therapists, choreographers and many other specialists work with the school’s students. “Currently in Karelia there are about 100 wards with disabilities, and more than half have become participants in the SHOK project,” said a specialist from the social service center of the Republic.

Another participant in the 2023 Accelerator, Evgenia Chekorina from Chelyabinsk, received 807 thousand rubles from Rosmolodezh. Grants for the educational project “Speak in Rhyme.” It aims to develop freestyle rap culture among teenagers and youth in the region. Now the project team is holding the first meetings with potential audiences.

The accelerator of creative projects “Create.Tavrida” has been running since 2021. In just three years, participants won more than 40 million rubles: 975 thousand in 2021, 4.2 million in 2022, 37.6 million in 2023.
