Specialists of the Department of Psychological Support of «Artek» conduct individual consultations and provide psychological assistance to children who arrived in Evpatoria from the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
Childhood under a peaceful sky began for children who arrived in the Republic of Crimea (Evpatoria) from the territory of Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. With the support of local executive authorities, accommodation, meals, leisure and educational process are organized for children, many playgrounds are happy to open their doors for children. Support and assistance is also provided by the Artek International Children’s Center.
On behalf of Konstantin Fedorenko, Director of ICC Artek, the Department of Psychological Support, together with a single contact center, provides psychological support to children in difficult situations who need to speak up and get help in order to feel emotionally better. We have worked out various ways of dialing, developed instructions so that you can directly get to our professional psychologists. The time of specialists was redistributed in such a way as to involve many and provide support to the maximum number of applicants , — said the head of the single contact center Elizaveta Molchanova.
During on-site consultations, Artek’s psychologists help children get rid of fears, build a life perspective, and form an image of the future.
The main task is to provide psychological assistance and support. Children at this stage need to be listened to. They need feedback, the opportunity to express their emotions, to talk. When people from the outside come to them, it is much easier to find a common language and give an opportunity to release their energy. Today we talked about the future, about how you need to plan your future trajectories, talked about goal setting, conducted training in order to switch the guys from their negative experiences to new impressions , — said the head of the psychological service of Artek » Natalia Goncharova.
She expressed gratitude for the cooperation of colleagues from the Kuban State University and emphasized that Artek never stands aside, helps and will continue to help those who need it.
At present, the structural divisions of the children’s center are working on organizing excursions, classes, various master classes for schoolchildren from Kherson and Zaporozhye regions who are vacationing in Crimea, so that they can attend large-scale events, plunge into Artek life and become Artek residents at least for one day .
