Artek residents congratulate the soldiers participating in the North Military District on the upcoming New Year

Traditionally, Artek hosts events to support Russian military personnel. Every shift, children write letters to participants in a special military operation. On the 14th shift, Artek residents signed New Year’s cards and congratulated the defenders of the Motherland on the upcoming New Year.

In their messages, the children talked about themselves, their achievements, and how they got to Artek. Artek residents wrote many kind words to Russian military personnel.

I want to wish you happiness, health, fulfillment of all desires, warmth, love and, of course, the most important thing — Victory. I’m sure you will succeed. And we are close. Thank you for everything you do for us. Thank you for defending our Motherland and not being afraid to go to the end. We love you very much and are waiting for you– wrote Alexandra Eremenko from Belgorod.

I am proud of you. You are the people who are ready to defend our Motherland. The younger generation thinks about your exploits and actions every day. New Year is coming soon. I wish you happiness, health and good luck. We are proud of our country! – Ekaterina Zhovtenko from Krasnodar addressed the defenders.

I wish you health and warmth. And the most important thing is that you return to your families. We, Artek residents, believe in you. And with faith everything always works out,” Ekaterina Feldsherova from Obninsk noted in her postcard.

Active children come to Artek and participate in volunteer activities. In their cities, the guys are collecting humanitarian aid and holding events to support SVO participants.

I constantly participate in volunteer events, have repeatedly helped participants of the SVO, collected various provisions, and wrote letters. I try to participate in such events more often, because I understand that everyone always needs support. I spend as much time on this as possible— said Daria Skobeeva from the city of Volzhsky, Volgograd region.

Every Artek resident wrote in his postcard that Russian military personnel are real heroes. Children note that defenders of the Motherland become an example of courage, bravery and patriotism for each of them.

They risk their lives, their health, and are away from their families for a long time. It is important to take part in such actions because it is an opportunity to support the heroes who protect ussays Kirill Balabanov from Belgorod.

The messages of the Artek residents will be passed on to the participants of the special military operation. The children hope that their cards will please the soldiers and become a pleasant gift on the eve of the New Year.
