Artek: the number of MDC employees will increase by almost a third

Infrastructure, personnel and education are the main directions of development of the children’s center. Currently, 2.5 thousand employees come out every day to keep the center running. They are primarily involved in the educational process. These are those who monitor the health of children, and also control issues of safety, maintenance of infrastructure, landscaping and landscaping. <...> In general, the capacity of Artek will provide for the simultaneous presence of 4.5 thousand children. To the current 2.5 thousand employees, about 1 thousand people will be added during the commissioning of new capacities.
The main recruitment of new employees will begin in 2025.
Artek, formerly the most famous pioneer camp of the USSR, was founded in 1925. After the reunification of Crimea with Russia in 2014, the children’s center, which consists of nine camps, became federal property. Artek is one of the most effective government projects in Crimea. In 2014, the main stage of reconstruction of the MDC was completed and infrastructure was created. Artek accepts more than 40 thousand children a year.
