As part of the criminal case, investigators will establish the circumstances of the death of a young man in the 1st city hospital of Sevastopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The head of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Vladimir Terentyev, ordered to initiate a criminal case for causing death by negligence due to improper performance by a person of his professional duties, as a result of which in the city hospital No. 1 named after. N.I. Pirogov city of Sevastopol, a 39-year-old man died (Part 2 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

According to the arguments of the relatives, when the man applied to a medical institution, the medical staff took a long time to carry out diagnostics, as a result of which the doctors did not detect the stroke in time and did not provide the patient with appropriate assistance.

Relatives of the deceased resident of Sevastopol appealed to the territorial division of the Investigative Committee with a request to conduct an inspection. At the same time, V.N. Terentyev instructed to initiate a criminal case and, through investigative means, establish all the circumstances of the tragedy, study the quality of medical care at all stages, documentation, and order appropriate examinationsnoted the Investigative Committee.

The management of the Main Investigation Department has put the process of establishing the circumstances under control.
