As part of the national project “Education”, two Quantorium technology parks will open in Crimea

Thanks to the implementation of the activities of the regional project “Modern School” of the national project “Education” by the beginning of the academic year 2024-2025. In Crimea, children’s technology parks «Quantorium» will open in Yalta (based on school No. 2) and Kerch (based on school No. 26). About 42 million rubles have been allocated from the federal budget to equip technology parks. As reported by the Main Directorate for the Implementation of National Projects, the contracting stage is already underway and premises for the placement of the necessary equipment are being determined.

Children’s technology parks «Quantorium» are sites where children can master promising engineering areas, including modern laser technologies, neurotechnologies, unmanned aircraft, programming, 3D modeling and others. Technoparks are designed to train young personnel in a number of current areas — from robotics and design of small Earth satellites to the study of laser technologies and modeling of unmanned objects,” noted the Main Directorate.

Thanks to the resources of school Quantoriums, children will have the opportunity to study school subjects at a higher quality level, improve their design and research skills, and also master such modern trends in the field of science and technology as part of additional education.
