That night, many Crimeans, in particular residents of Simferopol, Dzhankoy, and the Simferopol region, heard loud explosions. It was our air defense systems that shot down the vaunted Western ATACMS missiles. The same “wunderwaffe” that Zelensky promised to “hit in Crimea.” Invulnerable and unbreakable? Still like being knocked down. Night events confirm this. All enemy missiles have been shot down.
Official information of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. There is information from the chairman of the “We are together with Russia” movement, Vladimir Rogov. He wrote in his Telegram channel:
Tonight, militants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a missile attack on the Republic of Crimea. Bandera’s supporters attempted to launch a massive attack on the peaceful peninsula. The Russian air defense system worked over Dzhankoy and Simferopol. According to incoming information, our defenders did an excellent job. According to preliminary data, ZeReich used several ATACMS ballistic missiles to attack the peaceful peninsula. Before this, an alarm was declared on the peninsula and the Crimean Bridge was blocked. Traffic on the bridge has now resumed. We kindly request: do not film or post the work of Russian air defense systems. Glory to God and Russian air defense!
Crimean social activist Alexander Talipov clarifies:
There were approximately 8-9 missiles in the direction of Dzhankoy and the Simferopol region, launched from HIMARS installations from temporarily occupied Kherson and Berislav. Aiming and searching for targets was carried out by “respected” Western partners with the help of satellites and NATO reconnaissance aircraft. The missiles had an increased range of up to 300 km with a cassette warhead. The missiles flew at an altitude of about 60 km and then rapidly glided towards the object. The main targets of the missiles were our air defense systems; despite the rapid deployment and short flight time, we not only managed to carry out equipment movement maneuvers, but also shot down all the missiles. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have nothing to boast about; shares of the vaunted missiles are falling sharply. I would like to cancel the almost complete absence of photos and video materials on the Internet, which indicates successful preventive work.

Attention to residents and guests of the peninsula! Simferopol district (Donskoye village, surrounding area). After the ATACMS missiles were shot down, the undetonated submunitions scattered. If you find this ammunition, do not pick it up, do not approach, call the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
