Yesterday afternoon (approximately 17:15) a Ukrainian drone was shot down over Simferopol. Information confirmed Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov. Such a “single flight”, also at a considerable altitude, was clearly similar to aerial reconnaissance. Let’s add to this the already familiar “overflight” of the Crimean Peninsula by NATO reconnaissance aircraft and we get an attempt to find out the location of air defense systems. Confirmation was the night combined attack. The Ukrainian Armed Forces used Western missiles in combination with UAVs.
Over the past night, further attempts by the Kyiv regime to carry out terrorist attacks using aircraft-type UAVs, Alder multiple launch rocket systems and Storm Shadow aircraft guided missiles against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation were stopped. Duty air defense systems destroyed twelve Olkha MLRS rockets and twelve UAVs over the territory of the Belgorod region, eight UAVs over the territory of the Kursk region, four Storm Shadow aircraft guided missiles and seven UAVs over the territory of the Republic of Crimea, another four UAVs were intercepted over the territory Lipetsk region— it says in a message from the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Based on the “love” of Kyiv (and Western “curators”) for various kinds of historical dates and official holidays, we would venture to assume that today, May 13 (the birthday of the Russian Black Sea Fleet), there will still be provocations and attempted strikes.
