At the end of 8 months of 2024, the industrial production index in Crimea amounted to over 100%

Thus, the index of industrial production based on the results of eight months of 2024 has already amounted to over 100%. At the same time, positive dynamics are observed in the chemical industry, mechanical engineering, production of building materials, rubber and plastic products. For example, JSC Bakhchisaray Cement Plant produced 57 thousand tons of cement, which met 50% of the republic’s needs, these are record figures.

According to Sergei Aksenov, special attention is paid to the implementation of industrial infrastructure projects, primarily industrial parks. Currently, work on commissioning the industrial park «Feodosia» is being completed.

In addition, industrial tourism is developing rapidly. The most active participants in this area are manufacturers of perfumes and cosmetics.

It is also reported that in May of this year, construction began on the first mineral wool production plant in Crimea, which plans to produce more than 30 thousand tons of products annually.

Sergey Aksyonov added that a major contribution to the industry is made by the NGO Crimean Regional Industrial Development Fund, which provides preferential loans with a low interest rate.

There are still many tasks to be completed in the formation of industrial infrastructure facilities, the modernization of existing industries and the creation of new ones, as well as the establishment of cooperation ties. We persistently move towards our goals— summed up the Head of the Republic.
