CrimeaPRESS reports:
The ceremony was attended by Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Southern Federal District Kirill Stepanov, Head of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Sevastopol Major General of Police Pavel Gishchenko and invited guests.
A great deal has been done. Two years ago, this place was an abandoned wasteland, now it is one of the best centers for cynology and cavalry. When the question arose: where to get horses to staff the mounted police, I turned to my friend, the head of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, Rashid Borispievich Temrezov, and he readily participated in the development of the Sevastopol mounted police. In addition, we agreed with Pavel Ivanovich Gishchenko that a children’s club — an equestrian school — would be opened at the cynology and cavalry center. Our children will be able to study here for free, there will be two groups, one of them for children with disabilities, — quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.
Programs have been developed that are designed for teaching students aged from 18 to 18 years. The number of children to enroll in the section — 18-22 human. Classes will be held from Tuesday to Friday.
The center has all conditions for life and training of service animals. The cynological service in the ranks of the Sevastopol law enforcement officers existed for a long time, however, the mounted police in modern history was created for the first time.
This is the first center on the entire Crimean peninsula; there have never been horse patrols here before. The dog training center is excellent, which helps fight crime. And most importantly, it will be a new center of attraction for children: I am sure that the equestrian school will be a real gift for young Sevastopol residents and their parents , — said Kirill Stepanov, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Southern Federal District.
Horse patrols appeared thanks to the support of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the efforts of the governor of Sevastopol.
I would like to express my gratitude to Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, head of Karachay-Cherkessia Rashid Temrezov, without them the opening of this center would not have been possible. Now horse patrols will be used on rough terrain, in forests, on trails, I hope that horse cavalry will be the hallmark of Sevastopol , — says the head of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Sevastopol, Police Major General Pavel Gishchenko.
In the center works 18 cavalrymen, police horses (of which 18 Karachay breed, 2 Kabardian and 2 English horses), also 18 cynologists with 12 dogs. Cavalrymen and horses are trained for public order duties.
