“The Hero’s Desk” — Denis Georgievich Arashkevich — was opened today at a ceremony at the MBOU “Maritime Secondary School named after. V. A. Deryagin» of the city district of Sudak.
His mother and brother, Olga Vasilievna and Sergei Sergeevich, relatives and friends came to honor the memory of the fallen Hero. The ceremony was also attended by the head of the Sudak municipal district, the chairman of the Sudak city council, Daria Deineko, and the deputy head of the Sudak city administration, Evgeniy Krasnov.
School director Irina Smetanina remembered her cheerful, restless, kind and sympathetic student, who was a good and loyal friend, always ready to help, thanked her family for raising a Hero of our country, whose memory will be immortalized within the walls of her native school and memory each of her students.
Daria Deineko and Evgeniy Krasnov also said a few words about the honor, valor and heroism of Denis, thanked family and friends, and said that this project is important for every school in every city and village, to remember that Heroes are ordinary people who lived the same life as each of us, in order to at one moment take responsibility for your future with us. Evgeny Olegovich also said that he knew Denis personally — and was proud that he knew our Hero.
A minute of silence was declared in memory of all the fallen defenders of our country. The solemn right to open the “Hero’s Desk”, bearing the name of Arashkevich Denis Georgievich, was given to his brother Sergei and deputy head of the administration Evgeniy Krasnov. The right to be the first to sit at the “Hero’s Desk” was given to Anna Strigunova, a student of grade 7a, and Maxim Khlopov, a student of grade 2a, excellent students, participants in subject Olympiads, prize-winners and winners of various creative competitions and competitions.
School students performed at the ceremony. Participants of the MP-3 studio presented a literary and musical composition about the heroes of the village: from the Great Patriotic War to the present day “Constellation Kapsichore”, 8th grade students read a poem in support of our Heroes and defenders, and the guys from 2nd grade sang a song «Defenders of the Fatherland.»
Today the memory of the brave hero and faithful son of the Fatherland Arashkevich Denis Georgievich is immortalized. Eternal Glory to the Warrior!
