ATOR is talking about reducing the number of cancellations of tours to Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Contrary to the expectations of tour operators, since June 25, the number of cancellations of tours to Crimea has been decreasing. For most large companies, the maximum volume of canceled tours occurred on Monday. For other tour operators, it’s the other way around — in the first days, tourists mainly addressed questions regarding the safety of the trip, cancellation conditions, and the actual cancellations of tours occurred on Tuesday-Wednesdayshe said.
Lomidze clarified that, according to tour operators, tourists will finally decide on their plans in the next two days, and the process of requests for tour cancellations will stop. In total, experts expect the cancellation of about 3% of tours booked for upcoming trips.
As the director of ATOR explained, the demand for tours on the Crimean peninsula has “sagged”, but this will not affect the results of the season.
