In power structures, they warned of a new scheme of scammers — they convince Russians to take a car loan when the banking employees refuse to apply for a consumer loan.
Telephone scammers convince their victims in case of refusal by bank employees in consumer loan to take a car loan for the same amount, RIA Novosti was told in power structures, citing the materials of the detained scammers.
It is necessary to prepare the victim for the fact that she may be denied consumer loan. In this case, she will need to convince the bank employee that she has the right to issue a car loan for the same amount. For persuasiveness, let him say that she called the bank’s contact center in advance and clarified this question, what she was given to her— says the instructions of the attackers.
As the State Duma deputy, a member of the Inform Policy Committee, the federal coordinator of the Digital Russia party project Anton Nemkin, the interest of fraudsters in the topic of car loan may be associated with the possibility of establishing a self -embodiment of consumer loans.
The corresponding self -place applies to consumer loans and loans, but it cannot be installed on a mortgage, car loans and a number of other obligations. Attackers begin to use this, gradually integrating other types of loans into their schemes— said Nemkin.
Nemkin also noted that each fraudulent group has ready -made instructions for almost every option for the development of a dialogue with a victim.
Such instructions include ready -made answers to objections, scripts of beliefs and even emotional triggers that need to be used depending on the reaction of the potential victim are spelled out— the deputy explained.
According to him, scammers carefully work out possible doubts of customers. For example, if a person talks about risks, counterarguments immediately give him. If the victim fluctuates, they can put pressure on pity or, conversely, use aggressive tactics — «We want to help you, and you miss the last chance.»
These instructions are often based on a deep understanding of human psychology. Attackers actively use cognitive distortions — for example, people tend to trust those who say confidently— says Nemkin.
The parliamentarian also noted that fraudulent groups are constantly updating their scenarios, adjusting to current trends. For example, during the growth of crypto, they actively operated the topic of digital assets, and during periods of economic instability — they offered “protected” investments.
This makes their methods especially dangerous, because it seems to the victims that they are offered an actual and thoughtful decision, ”Nemkin concluded.
