The Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol reports:

  • On 06/02/2023, convict Sergey Viktorovich Ivanov, born in 1964, a native of the Luhansk region, serving a sentence in KP-1 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol for committing theft, left his workplace without permission and did not return to the institution.
  • special features of the convict: he looks 60-65 years old, average height 160-165 cm, gray short hair, thin build, large, protruding ears, brown eyes, limping on one leg.
  • He was wearing a dark blue sweater, dark blue jeans, a white and gray striped T-shirt and black sneakers. He had a white headdress.

Currently, operational-search activities are being carried out to search for and detain the convict.

It should be noted that in colonies-settlements, convicts are kept without guards under the supervision of the administration of the institution. During the hours from wake up to lights out, they enjoy the right of free movement within the colony-settlement. Also, with the permission of the administration, they can move outside the correctional facility, if necessary for work or study. In addition, convicts may wear civilian clothes and carry money.
