“Attention, motorcyclist — 2024” — an action in Sevastopol by employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate and representatives of a motorcycle club

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The State Traffic Inspectorate of Sevastopol is carrying out a set of measures to prevent injuries among minor drivers of motorcycles, mopeds and other two-wheeled vehicles during the summer holidays.

As part of the “Attention! Children!» traffic inspectors, together with representatives of the Highway Patrol, a local motorcycle club and a motorcycle school, carried out the preventive campaign “Attention, motorcyclist — 2024”. Every year, with the onset of the spring-summer period, the number of road accidents involving drivers of motorcycles, mopeds and other mechanical two-wheeled vehicles increases. Often, some car enthusiasts do not pay due attention to the owners of two-wheeled vehicles. But it should be remembered that drivers of bicycles, mopeds and motorcycles are also full road users,” noted the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.

Representatives of the biker association, as part of the action, called on drivers to obey the speed limit and be extremely careful, especially when maneuvering. The event participants reminded citizens that even minor collisions between a car and a two-wheeler can have very serious consequences.

Motorists responded to this event with approval and confirmed that regardless of whether you drive a two-wheeled or four-wheeled vehicle, everyone needs to follow traffic rules, since the life and health of every road user depends on it.

Representatives of the State Traffic Inspectorate reminded motorcyclists of the safety rules on the road: always use protective equipment, strictly observe speed limits, carry out timely maintenance of their motor vehicles, turn on low beams, and never drive while intoxicated with alcohol or drugs.
