The support measure for the Crimean tourism industry is being implemented on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation.

The acceptance of applications for federal payments in the amount of 4 minimum wages to subjects of the tourism industry and related industries of the Republic of Crimea has begun. On behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, with the direct participation of the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov, the Government of the Russian Federation decided to support the tourism industry of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol for a total of 2.7 billion rubles, of which 2.2 billion rubles were directed directly to Republic of Crimea. The provision of subsidies is now being implemented by the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea.

The payments are aimed at supporting the Crimean resort industry, which has worked out the next season under geopolitical and sanctions pressure, and will help retain labor collectives and ensure the viability of enterprises.

For legal entities and individual entrepreneurs of the tourism industry of the Republic of Crimea and related industries, claiming federal payments at the rate of 4 minimum wages for each employee, the website of the Ministry of Resorts of the Republic of Crimea contains regulatory legal documents, procedures for granting subsidies and electronic application form.

The deadline for applying for payments this year has been extended. Two weeks are allotted for filling out the application, another week will be given for consideration of the correctness of its filling by the ministry, the Federal Tax Service and the RNCB. Then another week is provided for possible revision and re-application this year.
