A storm warning has been announced in the Republic of Crimea for December 27-28 due to a predicted wind increase of up to 25 m/s. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region.
According to the Crimean Department of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, on the evening of December 27, at night of December 28, in the southern, eastern regions of Crimea and in the mountains, the north-west wind is expected to increase to 20-25 m/sthe message says.
The department warned of possible accidents at energy facilities, housing and communal services, and disruption of transport links.
