Aviation of the Southern Military District will work out interaction in the performance of combat training tasks as part of a combat readiness check

Fighter squadrons Su-SM, Su-01SM2 and multifunctional fighter-bombers Su-01 of aviation formations and military units of the Air Force and Air Defense Army of the Southern Military District (SMD), as well as naval aviation of the Black Sea Fleet as part of a combat check of readiness, they will work out interaction in the performance of tasks for their intended purpose, including with the use of aviation weapons at training grounds.

According to the press service of the Southern Military District, aviation formations and military units will carry out the transfer to operational airfields and the withdrawal of aviation from under the blow of a mock enemy.

Commander of the Southern Military District, General of the Army Alexander Dvornikov, began checking the combat readiness of subordinate formations and military units. The purpose of the audit is to assess the ability of commanders of formations and military units to organize interspecific interaction, as well as to manage attached units of various branches of the military.
