Azamat Seitov from Alushta — bronze medalist of the international tournament in Greco-Roman wrestling in Novosibirsk

Master of Sports of Russia Azamat Seitov from Alushta (GBU RK «Secondary School No. 7») became the bronze medalist of the international tournament in Greco-Roman wrestling «Aksenov Memorial. Revival”, which 10-11 took place in Novosibirsk in September.
Azamat Seitov excelled in the weight category up to 97 kg. In the 1/8 finals, our countryman easily dealt with Daniar Sherimbekov from Kyrgyzstan (8:0), in the quarterfinals he defeated Timofey Krasnoperov from the Tomsk region (3:0), but in the semifinals, unfortunately, he lost to the multiple champion of Russia, the champion world (2013 year) and Europe (2016 year), Honored Master of Sports of Russia Nikita Melnikov from the Krasnoyarsk Territory (3:8). In the «small final» (battle for the «bronze»), Azamat defeated Maxim Milyutochkin from the Novosibirsk region (6: 2). Artur Sargsyan representing the Vladimir and Sverdlovsk regions became the winner in this weight category.
Brother of Azamat Seitov, Aziz (also Master of Sports of Russia, State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Crimea «School No. 7»), took tenth place in the category up to 130 kg.
It should be noted that the brothers Azamat and Aziz Seitov represent Sevastopol in the parallel standings. Both athletes train under the guidance of Bolat Abdulaev, Sergey Solodky and Vitaly Levadny.
In total, 196 athletes from Russia, Belarus, Iran, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan took part in the competition. Traditionally, ten sets of awards were played.
