There is slight flooding on the Simferopol-Evpatoria highway, but the road to the Alushta Workers’ Corner is closed.
Heavy rainfall caused a landslide in Alushta. The road to the Working Corner was damaged. Unfortunately, prompt repair work is not a problem here; traffic is blocked.
The State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Road Service of the Republic of Crimea» reports that the movement of all types of transport on the section of the Alushta — Rabochiy Ugolok highway on the section km 2+680 — km 3+720 has been stopped. In this area, destruction of the road surface and destruction of the retaining wall as a result of a landslide were revealed. The cessation of movement of all types of transport is introduced for the duration of work to eliminate the destruction of the roadway and until the completion of restoration work. We ask road users to be guided by this information when choosing a route.,” noted the Ministry of Transport of Crimea.

The second incident (due to precipitation) was without consequences. The section of the Simferopol-Evpatoria highway (between Saki and Pribrezhny) was flooded again today. The prompt intervention of road services made it possible to ensure the release of water from the flooded area.
The flooding that occurred as a result of heavy rainfall on the Simferopol-Evpatoria highway 46-47 km was eliminated — it was eliminated in a few hours. There are no traffic restrictions for transport— reported the Ministry of Transport of Crimea.
