Bailiffs collected alimony debt from a Sevastopol resident totaling 245 thousand rubles
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The press service of the GUFSSP of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol notes: citizen P. — a Sevastopol resident — “forgot” about the needs of his minor son and accumulated a debt to him totaling 240 thousand rubles.
Citizen Zh., the mother of a child, filed a claim in court and after considering the case, citizen P. was ordered to pay alimony payments to the claimant in full. However, the debtor chose to delay the execution of the court decision, and as a result, employees of the bailiff department for the Nakhimovsky district of Sevastopol of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol initiated enforcement proceedings against him. Having familiarized himself with the decision of the bailiff, citizen P. considered that he could continue to evade fulfillment of his debt obligations without consequences,” said the department’s press service.
In this connection, for untimely execution of the court decision, the bailiffs of the department issued a ruling against the debtor to collect an enforcement fee in the amount of 5 thousand rubles. However, citizen P. continued to ignore the needs of his minor daughter. Then, in order to encourage a Sevastopol resident to promptly pay his alimony arrears, employees of the bailiff department in the Nakhimovsky district of the city of Sevastopol of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol applied enforcement measures to him, namely: they arrested bank accounts, imposed a ban on making registration actions with real estate — an apartment, and temporarily restricted the debtor’s right to travel outside Russia. After which, citizen P. made the appropriate conclusions for himself, found the required amount and promptly repaid the alimony debt, taking into account the enforcement fee, in full, transferring the funds to the department’s deposit account.
