Bailiffs collected alimony debt from a Simferopol resident totaling 120 thousand rubles

CrimeaPRESS reports:

A resident of Simferopol decided that he would not fulfill his obligations to his two minor sons and accumulated a child support debt to them totaling 530 thousand rubles.

Wanting to achieve the payments required by law for her children, citizen K., the mother of the children, went to court and, according to the decision, citizen A. was obliged to pay the debtor for alimony in full to the collector. In turn, citizen A. chose to postpone the execution of the court decision to a more convenient time for him, and as a result, the bailiff of the bailiff department for the Central District of Simferopol, GUFSSP of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, initiated enforcement proceedings against the debtor . Citizen A. also ignored the legal demand of the enforcement officer.

In order to encourage a Simferopol resident to pay off his alimony debt, the department’s bailiff arrested the bank accounts of citizen A., foreclosed on his wages and temporarily restricted the debtor’s right to travel outside Russia. However, the debtor was in no hurry to transfer funds for the maintenance of his minor sons. Taking into account the behavior of citizen A., the bailiff of the bailiff department for the Central District of Simferopol of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol called the debtor to the department, where, during a preventive conversation, he warned citizen A. that in the event further refusal to fulfill obligations to his children, he will be brought to administrative and criminal liability. Not wanting to face inconvenient restrictions and fearing that he could subsequently be deprived of parental rights for failure to pay child support, citizen A. came to the bailiff’s office, paid the child support debt in the amount of 120 thousand rubles and, during a preventive conversation, said that monthly will regularly transfer alimony payments in the amount of 100 thousand rubles until the remainder of the debt is fully repaid,” noted the department’s press service.
