Bailiffs in Inkerman suspended the operation of a waste incineration plant

The management of one of the Sevastopol waste disposal plants considered that it was not necessary to fully comply with the norms of the law when conducting its activities — the company burned class B and C hazardous biological waste near residential buildings in the city of Inkerman, thereby creating harm to health and a threat to life for citizens living nearby. In this regard, the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit to suspend the plant’s activities. Subsequently, the claim was satisfied and the employees of the bailiffs department for the Balaklavsky district of Sevastopol of the GUFSSP of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol initiated enforcement proceedings.

As part of the execution of interim measures, the bailiffs of the department, together with employees of the prosecutor’s office, made an exit at the address of the plant, where they handed the director of the enterprise a resolution and warned him orally about the consequences for failing to comply with the court decision, namely: criminal liability under Art. 315 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and administrative responsibility under Art. 17.14 and 17.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, as well as on the imposition of a temporary restriction on the right to travel outside the Russian Federation. Realizing the seriousness of the current situation, the management of the waste incineration plant decided to voluntarily suspend the activities of their enterprise, which was later recorded in the presence of employees of the bailiff department for the Balaklava district of the city of Sevastopol of the GUFSSP of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol and employees of the prosecutor’s office at revisiting the site.
