Beat a friend to death. Rowdy killer will be tried in Yevpatoria

In Yevpatoria, a 31-year-old local resident will appear in court for beating an acquaintance who died from his injuries. He is charged under Part 4 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, resulting in the death of the victim through negligence).
According to investigators, the accused, while intoxicated, entered into a conflict with a young man he previously knew. During the conflict, the defendant inflicted multiple punches and kicks to his opponent in the head and torso area. The victim died from his injuries in a healthcare facility— reported the prosecutor’s office.
With the approved indictment, the criminal case was sent to the Yevpatoriya City Court for consideration on the merits. The rowdy killer faces a long prison term (according to the “maximum limit” — up to 15 years in prison).
