On Saturday, October 28, the Slavic folk holiday “Pumpkin Spas” will be celebrated at the Belbek fair in the village of Sokolinoe, Bakhchisaray district. According to Tourist portal of Crimeaguests will be able to take part in a costume carnival, master classes, exciting games and many other exciting events.
The festival in honor of a healthy autumn vegetable — pumpkin, starts at 14:00. On this day, the area will be decorated in themed colors, and bright pictures as a souvenir can be taken in the pumpkin photo zone. Everyone will be able to take part in a costume carnival and a competition for the most interesting image. The winners will receive gifts from the mastersthe message says.
Traditionally, both adults and little guests will be interested in archery, horseback riding, games and many master classes.
“Children’s Circle” will invite mosaic lovers to create bright and original compositions from small fragments; at the “Driftwood” and “Paper Vine” master classes, children will learn how to create unique works from wood. In the forge, children will become familiar with ancient craftsmanship and will be able to make souvenirs from metal. Ceramics and the potter’s wheel will open their doors to everyone who wants to plunge into the world of clay creativity. They will also make bright, elastic slimes and paint gingerbread cookies. You will also be able to play board games for free: tic-tac-toe, checkers, dominoes, etc.
The musical program will begin at 16:00 with a performance by Anastasia Gras, a performer who reveals through her voice her love for nature and all things. Those present will hear original songs with guitar and covers in folk and country styles. At 17:00, multiple participant and laureate of art song festivals Berta (Izhevsk) will perform lyrical songs on stage. An hour later, the audience will enjoy a dance set from DJ Dimushka. And at 19:00 everyone will gather for a traditional jam session around the fire.
As usual, artisans will present natural and eco-friendly handmade products at the fair, and local farmers will present cheeses, honey, whole grain bread, desserts, artisan chocolate, and pressed butters.
