Belogorsky greenhouse complex damaged due to heavy rains and flooding in Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The damage caused to the Crimea by showers and «high water» in these June days will still be calculated. But it can be argued that the agro-industrial sector, in particular, the farms of the Simferopol Belogorsk and Bakhchisaray districts, were seriously affected.
The Belogorsky greenhouse complex was badly damaged due to heavy rains and floods. The work of the largest Crimean greenhouse farm has been stopped. Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Migal visited the site. He shared his impressions and photos in his Telegram-channel.
As a result of the flood, the largest greenhouse complex in the Crimea «Belogorsky» was seriously damaged. The enterprise grows tomatoes and cucumbers on an area of about hectares. This is the only year-round vegetable production in the Republic. Since the beginning of the year, the volume of production has amounted to more than 4 22 tons. The cultivation technology is managed through a computer center , the minister said.
He confirmed that all technological processes were stopped. The water level during the flood reached a meter, all equipment is de-energized.
