Benefit for society: 575 container sites manufactured in the institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service were installed in Crimea

In Crimea, in 2023, 575 container sites were installed for the collection of MSW produced at the production facilities of correctional institutions.

Last year, subordinate institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Republic of Crimea took part in a regional program for landscaping. Thus, as part of the concluded contracts, the convicts manufactured sites for the collection of solid waste, which were installed in all municipalities of the peninsula— reported the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

Let us note that, according to the current legislation of the Russian Federation, penal colonies of Crimea can act as the only suppliers of goods, works or services, while it is possible to formalize contractual relations within the legal framework without the procedure of auctions, tenders and requests for quotations.
