In Rostov-on-Don, at the Express Sports Complex, as part of the mixed martial arts (MMA) tournament Legion Fight XXI, a match was held between the national teams of Russia and Kyrgyzstan.

The Russians won – 3:2. A significant contribution to the success of our compatriots was made by Simferopol resident Besarion Bigvava, who in the weight category up to 80 kg defeated his opponent Irysbek Nurmatov with a choke hold. Besarion Bigvava represents the Simferopol club «Tornado», trains under the leadership of Sergei Churilov. In addition to MMA, he also competes in freestyle wrestling (he is the current champion of Crimea), pankration, hand-to-hand combat and a number of other types of martial arts— reports «Crimean sport».
