“Best case of support for social entrepreneurship”: Crimea — winner of the “My Business” award

The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation summed up the results of the “My Business” award. Based on its results, the best regional practices to support entrepreneurs and the self-employed were selected. The awards ceremony for the winners took place as part of the All-Russian forum “My Business. Camp» in Moscow.

According to Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Tatyana Ilyushnikova, the “My Business” Award pursues several goals. Firstly, this is an opportunity to exchange experiences with colleagues from all regions of Russia, expand your vision of the support system for the SME sector, and find new points of growth. Secondly, it is a search for best practices for further replication. Thirdly, this is the fine-tuning of regional support measures, which ultimately increases their accessibility and effectiveness. Thirdly, the award is a reflection of the results of the work of the My Business Centers; thanks to it, specialists understand what they have achieved and where they need to move next.

The “My Business” award is held in 16 categories. When choosing best practices, the opinions of both specialists in the field of SME support from other regions and an expert jury are taken into account.

The My Business Center of the Republic of Crimea was highly praised by experts in the category “Best case for supporting social entrepreneurship.”

Our best case was the educational project “YOUR BUSINESS”, aimed at SVO participants who completed military service, as well as members of their families who decided to do business, test their business idea or find new channels for promoting their products, works or services. Individual business development maps were developed for the participants and 15 comprehensive services were provided, including product certification, development of a financial business model, and website creationnotes Irina Kiviko.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the experience of Crimea was implemented in 2024 by the Perm region, and is preparing for implementation in 2025 in the Novosibirsk, Orenburg and Tomsk regions, as well as in the Republic of Ingushetia.
