Between 2014 and 2023, over 7 million square meters of housing were commissioned in Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, in his Telegram channel informed that a comfortable and safe living environment is one of the main national development goals of Russia until 2030, defined by the President.
To achieve this, it is necessary to increase the volume of housing construction annually. In Crimea, this work is being carried out as part of the implementation of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”. Let me remind you that last year more than 1.2 million sq. m. were commissioned. meters of housing, including almost 316 thousand square meters in apartment buildings. This is 40% higher than the indicator established within the framework of the national project– notes the Head of Crimea.
At the same time, over 1 million sq. m. have already been commissioned this year. meters, which is 5% more than planned and 6% more than what was introduced in the same period last year. 187 thousand of them are in MKD. By 2030, it is planned to increase volumes to 1.5 million square meters. meters per year.
Two more significant figures. From 2014 to 2023, over 7 million square meters were put into operation. meters of housing, and for the period from 2004 to 2013 – less than 5 million. But, of course, not only the quantity of housing is important, but also its convenience for all categories of citizens. A good example in this regard is a 198-apartment building in the city of Saki, commissioned last year. A number of apartments in it have direct access for people with limited mobilitysays the Head of the Republic.
According to Sergei Aksenov, despite the record volumes of commissioning, the average provision of housing for Crimeans is still lower than the Russian average.
Although there is progress here: if in 2015 there was an average of 16.3 square meters per Crimean resident. meters of total living space, then by the end of 2023 – 21.4 “squares”. At the end of this year, this figure will be 22 square meters. meters. By 2030 it should grow to 25.5 square meters. meters. We will do everything necessary for this– emphasizes the Head of Crimea.
