Crimean police note: bicycles are increasingly becoming the prey of thieves in summer
- do not leave bicycles in entrances, near buildings, retail facilities, or other public places without a special locking device, even for a short time;
- Do not trust strangers to look after your bike;
- It is advisable to leave your bicycle within the field of view of CCTV cameras;
- When locking your bicycle to a fence, railing or other structure, make sure it is secure and stable;
- the bicycle should be locked by the wheel and frame, and, if the length of the cable allows, by both wheels and the frame;
- Make your bike easily recognizable by covering it with reflective film and colored elements.
If your bicycle is lost, you should immediately contact the police by calling 02 or 102 from a mobile phone.
