«Big Brother is watching.» In Crimea, the traffic police increasingly uses videos of violations from social networks

In Crimea, employees of the State traffic inspectorate of Yalta brought to justice a driver who violated the rules of the road. Bring to justice a Crimean grinding a video from social networks, in which the driver of a BMW car grossly violates traffic rules.

June 19, at 8:13 on the street. Marshak on a two-way road, the driver, in violation of the requirements of road markings, crossed a solid line and made a left turn, thereby violating the Rules of the Road— said the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.

The State Traffic Inspectorate conducted an inspection and identified the violator. It turned out to be a 33-year-old local resident. In relation to the violator, a protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up under Part 2 of Art. 12.16 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (Turn to the left or turn in violation of the requirements prescribed by road signs or roadway markings). The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of an administrative fine in the amount of one thousand to one and a half thousand rubles.
