“Big change”: students in Crimea work on VK sites
CrimeaPRESS reports:
From November 2 to November 6, 2023, the final of the all-Russian competition “Big Change” among students in grades 8-10 took place at the Artek International Children’s Center on the Crimean Peninsula. This unique event brought together 1,500 high school students from all over Russia, where they were able to demonstrate their abilities and compete for coveted prizes.
In addition to the competitive tasks, participants were treated to an exciting program, including an introduction to Crimean beauties and the opportunity to meet famous media personalities, including athletes, financiers, entrepreneurs and journalists. Also at the event there was an opportunity to get acquainted with the stands of large Russian companies.
We especially want to highlight the role of our Crimean students, who for the second year in a row have been actively participating in organizing and holding VK events in Artek. Their enthusiasm, professionalism and dedication helped create an unforgettable atmosphere for the event participants.
Soldiers from student groups represented the technology company VK at their stands. They told schoolchildren about the company’s capabilities, conducted surveys and presented memorable gifts. Each student stood at his own station, helping students better understand the capabilities of the applications:
- VK Education
- VK Music
- VK Clips
- VK Sferum
In addition, autograph sessions were held with popular bloggers Artem Pimenov and Sasha Lukyanova, as well as rap artist ST.
This is the second year in a row that I have come to Artek, it’s nice to know that we are part of a large technology company at such a large-scale event. These are always pleasant meetings, cool opportunities and new acquaintances. But this year there were also emotional meetings with the guys who were here last year– Anastasia Barysheva, a specialist at the regional headquarters of student teams of the Republic of Crimea, shared her impressions.
