In Sevastopol, the Great Ethnographic Dictation took place offline. On the eve of National Unity Day, its participants answered questions about the culture and traditions of the peoples of Russia. The Great Ethnographic Dictation is an action aimed at supporting and disseminating information about the culture, traditions, and history of the peoples of Russia. Every year we increase the number of participants. This is largely due to the fact that we have switched to a mixed format: older people traditionally come and write tests, almost all young people take part online. One way or another, all participants will be able to test their ethnographic literacy , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the department for working with national, religious organizations of the department of internal policy Vladimir Kolesnikov.
Every year the questions of the dictation change, but all of them are historical and ethnographic. For example, last year the participants answered what name Sevastopol bore from 620 to 1814 year and what was the name of the traditional shoes of the Kazan Tatars of the 19th century.
After writing the dictation, you can get a certificate of participation. To do this, it is enough to fill out a questionnaire on the online platform, and if the person answered the questions offline, then we will print the certificate ourselves. Recall that for the first time the Big Ethnographic Dictation was held in Sevastopol in 0711 — then its participants were 11 human. The most massive action was in 2022 year, when 8 412 human.
