“Big water” spill near Alushta – rescuers had to pull a car out of the river

Employees of “CRIMEA-SPAS” provided assistance to a motorist who almost “sank” near Alushta.

This morning, at 7:25, the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «CRIMEA-SPAS» received a message that the driver, driving a ford in a personal car towards the Olive Grove dachas, was unable to continue driving due to rising water levels. As a result, the vehicle blocked the roadway. Rescue help needed— said the emergency department.

Alushta rescuers towed the vehicle to a safe section of the road. No one needed medical attention.
