Billions of investments: an agreement was signed at SPIEF on the development of a part of the coastal territory of the Northern side of Sevastopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Within the framework of the international economic forum in St. Petersburg, an agreement was signed on the implementation of a major investment project. 15 billion of private investments will be directed to the first stage of the complex project of transformation of the territory.

We are talking about an abandoned area with unfinished buildings in the Lyubimovka area. This area is close to other tourist sites. These are the Albatross, Lukomorye, Horizont, Mokrousova bases, and the Perovskikh Manor winery, as well as one of the entry points to the Great Sevastopol Trail tourist route nearby. The investor plans to build a world-class multifunctional complex, social facilities, including a rehabilitation center for children, as well as improve the beach and make a single promenade line while maintaining accessibility for all Sevastopol residents. An important component of the project will also be the creation of parks, sports areas and playgrounds. At the same time, all objects will be available not only for tourists, but also for all residents of Sevastopol , the press service of the Government of Sevastopol reported.

During the first three years, apartments and an A+ hotel, which has no analogues in the region, will be built, as well as landscaping 10 hectares, including a sandy beach. The complex will provide the creation of more than 1 000 new jobs, improve conditions for the development of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as the ability to accept more than 10 000 tourists per season.

The agreement on the start of the project implementation was signed between the governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev, the chairman of the PSB Petr Fradkov and the managing partner of YUGA Nail Izmailov. PSB will provide financial support for the construction of the complex.

Recently, at the town planning council, we decided to develop a significant section of the coast on the North Side as a recreational cluster. And in particular, in many respects this decision was launched thanks to an investor who purchased a plot of land and came up with a proposal to create a five-star hotel and a complex of apart-hotels next to the complex development of the territory. The volume of investments is significant — about 15 billion rubles. We remember the President’s order to attract more than 200 billion private investments in the economy of Sevastopol by 2025 a year, this is the first major project that brings us closer to fulfilling this task , – notes Mikhail Razvozhaev.

We consider promising projects as an incentive for the development of the investment attractiveness of the city of Sevastopol. Thanks to the new opportunities that will be opened by financing from the PSB, the developer will build a large-scale facility to improve the comfort of residents and guests of the south of the country. The joint project of business and government, supported by the PSB, will be a significant step towards the development of the region and its infrastructure , says Petr Fradkov.

The complex project was developed with the participation of the architects of the Kleinewelt Architekten bureau, taking into account world practice in creating premium resort complexes. Other leading companies in their fields also became participants in the project. The author of the socio-cultural study was the CityMakers bureau, and the development of housing and services of the complex was carried out by the consulting company Knight Frank.

Today, a fundamentally new stage in the development of Sevastopol has been launched. The YUGA project will become a world-class multifunctional complex and a new development driver for the entire northern part of the city. The complex will provide a qualitatively new infrastructural level and will allow Sevastopol’s potential to be fully revealed both for local residents and for residents of other regions. Despite the unprecedented sanctions from unfriendly states, the YUGA complex project has not changed in terms of implementation or the composition of investors from representatives of the international community , — notes Nail Izmailov.
