On September 22-23, celebratory events will be held in Kara-Dag dedicated to the 109th anniversary of the founding of the Kara-Dag Scientific Station named after. T. I. Vyazemsky. According to Tourist portal of Crimeaguests of the holiday will enjoy performances by musicians, an exhibition of paintings and graphics by Koktebel artists, a tour of an ancient extinct volcano at a discounted price, and an exciting eco-quest with prizes.
According to the organizers, the festive events will begin on Friday, September 22, at 15:00 at the visitor center with a performance by the creative duo “Marian”. Guests will hear the sounds of a violin performed by Maria Sereda and a piano with the mesmerizing vocals of Anastasia Popova. The creative program “Ode to Crimea” will feature music based on poems by poets of the Silver Age and modern Crimean authors.
On Saturday, September 23, everyone will be able to visit the “Big Kara-Dag” eco-trail and the scientific demonstration program “People and Dolphins” at the same price for adults and children – 500 rubles. Groups depart for the route at 14:30, the program starts at 11:00 and 15:00.
The Museum of History and Nature of Kara-Dag will also open its doors; you can visit it at a single discounted price — 200 rubles. At 13:00 the festive program will continue with an eco-quest around the museum “The best expert on protected nature”. The most active participants will receive prizes from the reserve.
At 15:00, an exhibition of paintings and graphics by Natalia and Andrey Komovsky will open at the visitor center of the reserve. Guests will see the paintings and graphic works of Andrei Komovsky from different years. And the artist will present works from the last year — mainly landscapes of Koktebel and still lifes. The Komovskys are part of the association of Koktebel artists “Podzaborniki”. Their works can be seen twice a year on Serov Street, where “sub-fence exhibitions” are held.
