Sevastopol hosted the Black Sea Cyberfest for almost the entire month of August. Cybersportsmen from Sevastopol and Crimea took part in the annual tournament in the disciplines of Counter-Strike, Dota 2 and Tekken 7. It took place in the network of computer clubs CYBERSET. The competitions were held with the support of the Department of Youth and Sports of Sevastopol as part of the implementation of the regional project «Sport is the norm of life» of the national project «Demography».
This year, in order to attract a maximum of new players, inexperienced, beginners, several stages were made. The first stage was the «Mix Tournament» — this is when people who do not have their own teams gathered individually, and we created a team for them here on the spot. At the second stage, there were youth teams in which the players did not reach the age of majority, up to 18 years old. At the third stage, there can be any teams, including quite experienced ones.— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the President of the Federation of Computer Sports of Sevastopol Evgeny Eremenko.
The winner of each stage received a quota for participation in the general grand final of the Black Sea Cyberfest.
The following teams were the winners and runners-up:
Dota 2:
1st place — the team «Sheva + 4»;
2nd place — team «FCS Mix»;
3rd place — the Meepo Plears team.
Counterstrike:
1st place — the team «SevGeng»;
2nd place — team «FCS MIX»;
3rd place — team «1Fowl».
Tekken 7:
1st place — Yaroslav Belonozhka;
2nd place — Timofey Glushkevich;
3rd place — Nikita Gazizov.
All winners and prize-winners received memorable gifts from the organizers. The next competition will start in the autumn.
