Specialists from the State Unitary Enterprise “Sevelektroavtotrans” these days continue to work on a comprehensive survey of the hydraulic structure of the Mikhailovskaya Battery museum complex. A positive result will allow the resumption of boat traffic with Radiogorka according to a temporary scheme.

After the conclusion of experts, the issue of carrying out sea passenger transportation using berth N4 will be resolved, which can become a backup option for resuming the Artbukhta-Radiogorka connection during the reconstruction of the main berth N3— reports «Sevastopol newspaper».

The berth at the Mikhailovskaya Battery is under the jurisdiction of the Black Sea Fleet. Therefore, to begin his examination, it was necessary to obtain approval from the military. Moreover, the help of pyrotechnicians from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was not superfluous.

During a diving survey of the water area, specialists from the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol discovered, lifted from the water and prepared for removal 5 explosive objects from the times of the Great Patriotic War. Let us remind you that after the storm on the night of November 27, the entire district of Sevastopol — Radiogorka was left without sea communications with the central part of the city. A pontoon used as a mooring point for boats broke away and sank. A diving examination revealed three large holes in it, and the shallow depth does not make it possible to bring ship-lifting pontoons to it.
