Boiling Point opened in Sevastopol

On June 29, 2023, the grand opening of the «Boiling Point» was held in Sevastopol with the support of Sevastopol State University and the platform of the National Technology Initiative.
The Boiling Point is a comfortable space where everyone can hold a free educational event. On the site you can find experts in any field, exchange views, find like-minded people. The main areas for the development of the city’s «Boiling Point» were: the socio-economic development of the region, tourism, entrepreneurship, creative industries, smart city, municipal management, urban environment and technology industry. Technopark «IT Crimea» took part in the panel discussion «Technological sovereignty and culture as the main drivers of development of modern Russian cities»— noted in the press service of Technopark «IT Crimea».
General Director of Technopark «IT Crimea» Dmitry Zelensky commented on the current situation of the IT cluster in the modern realities of our country:
Any crisis is an opportunity, including opportunities for transformation, creating the prerequisites for the formation of a new economy. One of the tools could be a special administrative region. In our opinion, the introduction of this tool will help to gain unique experience, which will help the IT sector in Russia to reach a new level in the future.
Dmitry Zelensky also congratulated those present on the opening of the city’s boiling point, and noted that such initiatives help the development of the city and business, because it is in such places that new ideas and, accordingly, opportunities are born.
The event was also attended by guests of honor — Deputy Governor Igor Mikheev, Rector of SevSU Vladimir Nechaev, project manager of the Community Development Department of ANO NTI Platform Vladislav Shirokov.
