Brazil and Russia plan joint film production

Brazil and Russia are planning joint production of films, and work is underway on an agreement, Brazilian Ambassador to Russia Rodrigo de Lima Baena Soares said.
We are actively working on concluding an agreement on cooperation in the audiovisual field, which will be very important for the development of ties between the two countries in the field of cinematography. Our goal is a joint Russian-Brazilian film production. I hope that after we reach this agreement, we will be able to make a co-production film— said the ambassador at a press conference in the Russia Today media group.
According to him, cooperation in this area will help the peoples of the two countries to learn more about each other.
Earlier, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Culture announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Brazilian Ministry. During the meeting, the parties discussed joint work in the area of libraries, museums, film production, festival and touring activities.
