By 2030, Crimea intends to reconstruct and replace almost 4.9 thousand km of water supply networks

The total length of water supply networks, which are on the balance sheet of resource supply organizations, is more than 12 thousand kilometers. About 9 thousand kilometers, or more than 73%, are physically worn out and require replacement. At the same time, the wear of about 4.9 thousand kilometers of networks exceeds 90%. That is, their urgent repair and replacement is necessary.notes the Head of the Republic.

The situation is similar with sewer networks, the total length of which exceeds 2.7 thousand kilometers.

Sergei Aksyonov emphasized that by 2030 it is planned to reconstruct and replace almost 4.9 thousand kilometers of water supply networks and more than a thousand kilometers of sewer networks, which will require more than 75 billion rubles.

Work is being carried out within the framework of several programs. This is the state program “Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol”, the Republican targeted investment program, production and investment programs of enterprises in the housing and communal services industry, a set of measures to reduce losses in networks— informed the Head of Crimea.
