By the prospect of replacing officials and deputies with AI, every second Crimean is positive

In a survey of the Search for highly paid work Superjob Representatives of the economically active population from Crimea took part.
According to the Minister of Digital Development of Russia, Maksuta Shadaev, AI is able to take the functions of about 50% of civil servants. This idea finds a response in society: according to the survey, 55% of the inhabitants of Crimea positively perceive the prospect of the implementation of AI in state structures (every fifth is definitely positive, another 36% is more positively). Among the arguments are the following: “AI will be able to analyze the data objectively and without errors”; “The main thing is to provide information protection”; “So you can reduce corruption.” 45% — against (14% perceived the idea completely negatively, another 31% — rather negatively). Their arguments: “It all depends on how the AI programs”, “Technologies are not yet ready to completely replace a person”, “Automation is useful for data processing, but not for making decisions.”
Today, 58% of the inhabitants of Crimea are positively relate to the fact that lawmakers will begin to supplant AI (22% — definitely positively, and 36% — rather positively): “This is a step towards direct electronic democracy.” However, 42% of respondents opposed the replacement of living deputies with algorithms (13% are categorically negative, another 29% are rather negative).
Men often women approve the prospect of replacing officials and deputies with AI algorithms. Among the inhabitants of Crimea under 35, the idea of digitalizing the functions of civil servants finds more support, and among citizens 35–45 years — replacement of State Duma deputies algorithms of AI.
