Caches and caches: a girl suspected of drug trafficking was detained in Yevpatoria

Employees of the drug control department, together with employees of a separate patrol and guard company of the OMVD of Russia for the city of Yevpatoria, as a result of operational and investigative activities, detained a 26-year-old resident of the Saksky district, suspected of selling prohibited substances.
In the suspect’s vehicle, police officers found and seized two packages with a white powder substance. The girl admitted that the packages contained the narcotic drug «mephedrone», which she intended to sell in Yevpatoria by setting up caches and sending a photo of the coordinates of the area via the Internet. During the inspection of the area, using the coordinates available on the suspect’s phone, police officers found another package. According to the results of the examination, the seized substances with a total weight of more than 127 grams are narcotic drugs, derivatives of ephedrone.— the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol reported.
The investigation department of the Yevpatoria Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia has opened criminal cases on the basis of these facts under Part 3 of Article 30 Part 4 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Attempt at illegal sale of drugs on a large scale». The sanction of the article provides for a maximum punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 20 years. The court has chosen a preventive measure for the suspect — house arrest.
Further operational and investigative actions are being carried out aimed at identifying other persons involved in illegal drug trafficking.
